It is gratitude which allowed me to accept the loss of my mom and dad. At first the loss is unimaginable . One cannot process a loss so profound. It is difficult to accept that they are no longer with us. Over time , sorting through photos, letters and cards, there is an opportunity to put life into perspective. To be someone’s daughter for 65 years is a privilege denied to many. I am so grateful for the loving, caring and beautiful family I have had. I will carry their love and values with me always and pay their love forward. Grief has been replaced with gratitude.
